About Our Chamber Ensembles

The Paulding County High School Chamber Ensembles provide students with opportunities to perform in smaller groups that emphasize musical independence, collaboration, and artistry. These ensembles allow students to strengthen their musicianship while exploring a variety of musical styles in a more personalized performance setting.

From jazz to percussion to saxophone ensemble, chamber groups encourage creativity, confidence, and excellence while representing Paulding County High School throughout the community.

Performance Opportunities

Students can explore a variety of musical styles through our chamber ensembles.

Jazz Band

The Jazz Band performs classic and contemporary jazz literature while developing improvisation, stylistic interpretation, and ensemble performance skills. Students explore a wide range of musical genres through engaging rehearsals and performances.

Saxophone Ensemble

The Saxophone Ensemble gives students the opportunity to perform challenging literature written specifically for the saxophone family. Members refine their tone, technique, balance, and musical expression while working closely as a chamber group.

Percussion Ensemble

The Percussion Ensemble explores a diverse range of music written for concert percussion instruments. Students strengthen rhythmic accuracy, ensemble communication, and performance skills through collaborative rehearsals and concerts.
